Our Props Designers created this functioning industrial 2m dia Practical Fan prop for both visual effect on camera and also to be used for lighting shadows on set. Silent rotation (for dialogue) & slow speed (using our custom drive system) were the main requirements, but safety considerations, with the prop being mounted in the lighting rig, meant we 3D printed the hub and made the blades from balsa, so this large fan weighed just 500gm

Custom Retractable Stake with Actor Worn Magnetic Rig
Our Props team developed this hyper realistic wooden "vampire killing" replica stake
Not only does it look impressive as a prop, it has two hidden secrets. The end of the stake is retractable, but also there's an actor worn magnetic rig, that allows the prop, once stabbed into the victim to stay in place for that perfect "in-camera" one-shot of the stab and then let the stake go and it stays in place. Just add a blood squib to complete the effect, without the need for any camera cut-aways, vfx or editing.

We have made many different types of stab knife kits, but scissors, stakes and any other stabbing object can be created by our in-house props masters.

War of the Worlds - TV Drama
BloodyStuff Props & Effects were asked to provide BreakableFX (Breakaway) furniture for this new take on "The War Of The Worlds" from Fox, StudioCanal & Urban Myth Films.
When astronomers detect a transmission from another galaxy, it is definitive proof of intelligent extra-terrestrial life. Within days however, mankind is all but wiped out, with just pockets of humanity left in a desolate vision of the world.
As part of the incredible sets and action scenes, BloodyStuff Breakable props craftsmen were asked to create a number of replica furniture pieces that would provide stunt safe breakaway action.

BreakableFX - Replica Period Table
After consultation with both the production and stunt co-ordinators, BloodyStuff's Breakaway technicians set about producing a replica (from a supplied original hero) of this intricate period table. Final staining and finishing will be done by the Art Department of the film.

BreakableFX Modern Coffee Table
Here is one of our recent "made-to-order" BreakableFX for US of Productions Ltd
A modern Glass and wood table was requested by the production for an upcoming feature film. Our BloodyStuff Props BreakableFX Dept designed and built this unique table, combining both BreakableFX wood and glass. Due to the high quality of build and finish of this prop, the table was used as both the hero and the BreakableFX.

Here is one of our recent "made-to-order" Soft Props for a Film
The Scene called for a lightweight and "fight-safe" 1.5m long tree trunk, to be picked up by a small girl and used to hit the "baddie"
BloodyStuff Props masters moulded a real tree trunk (22kg) and then cast from foam and put it through our paint/finishing department for the final product, which weighs less than a kilo.

The Scene called for some rough action treatment of the lead actors weapon, which was a real, very rare and extremely expensive tactical rifle.
Working with the armourer, who accompanied his real gun to our workshops, we set about casting , moulding and finishing a faithful reproduction of the original, which was then used in the film to drop and generally abuse. Being made of resin and with the possibility to create as many replicas as required, made working with BloodyStuff the perfect solution for the film
